Louisville music nonprofit wins $50,000 award

“LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A local, nonprofit music program teaching students music composition, performance and technology is being honored with a national award and a $50,000 prize.

The Academy of Music Production Education and Development in Louisville, providing free music education and performance programs for children aged 8 to 18, has won the Infusion Award through the national philanthropic organization Lewis Prize for Music, according to a release sent Tuesday.”
