Atlanta's Jessye Norman School of the Arts receives funding from the Lewis Prize for Music

On Wednesday, June 24 the Jessye Norman School of the Arts received a total of $50,000 for its youth music education programs. The money was awarded from The Lewis Prize for Music, a creative arts philanthropy, that announced its the recipients of its COVID-19 Community Response Fund. 

The fund awarded a total of 1.25 million dollars to 32 creative youth development organizations across the United States that have responded to the needs of young people they serve amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
